Knock me out!

Finally a tidy, truly blackspot-resistant shrub rose. Knockout rose maintenance is as close as you will get to a “plant it and forget it” rose. Unlike most roses which require at least six hours of sun, Knockout™ varieties do fine in a location with as little as four hours of sun. A moist, well-drained soil is ideal. Knockout rose thrives in humid climates where most other roses need spray and maintenance and is also very winter-hardy, even in windy areas, in zones 4-10. The petals fall cleanly, never needing dead-heading, all though if you do deadhead you will be rewarded with faster reblooming. And the blooms keep coming and coming until late fall. Orange-red hips follow the blooms. Knockout rose is now available in red, pink, blushing pink and double red varieties. Try a mass planting for a true knockout of abundant color in the garden.
